Voice and AI settings

Without a key, StepCast writes plain step text itself and uses your recorded voice or your browser's built-in voice. Add an OpenAI API key to rewrite steps with AI and to generate a recorded AI voice.

The key is kept in this browser only. It is never saved to the online database and is sent only to api.openai.com. Model and voice names change over time; check OpenAI's documentation if a request is rejected.
